2. About the Application
Acumatica Inventory Scanner is a mobile and desktop application that enables users to:
- Scan product barcodes using the device's camera
- Connect to their own Acumatica ERP system via secure OAuth 2.0 authentication
- Look up and view inventory item details from their Acumatica instance
- View warehouse locations and stock quantities
Important: The App is a client-side tool that connects directly to YOUR Acumatica ERP system. We (AcuPower LTD) do not operate servers that store or process your business data.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you configure the App, you provide the following information:

- Authenticate your connection to your Acumatica ERP system using industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocol
- Query inventory data from your own Acumatica instance when you scan a barcode
- Display item details, warehouse locations, and stock information retrieved from your system
- Cache recently viewed items locally on your device for improved performance
We do not use your information for:
- Marketing or advertising
- Profiling or automated decision-making
- Sale to third parties
- Any purpose other than the App's core functionality
5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Local Storage Architecture
All data remains on your device. The App uses a decentralized architecture where:
- Configuration and credentials are stored locally using platform-native secure storage mechanisms
- On Android: Android Keystore system
- On iOS: iOS Keychain
- On Windows/macOS: Platform-specific secure storage APIs
5.2 No Central Servers
AcuPower LTD does not operate servers that receive, store, or process your data. The App communicates directly between your device and your Acumatica instance. We have no access to:
- Your Acumatica credentials
- Your business data
- Your inventory information
- Any data you enter or view in the App

We have implemented comprehensive security measures to protect your personal data:

- Your Acumatica ERP Instance: The server URL you configure. This communication is between your device and your own system.
The App does NOT integrate with:
- Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- Advertising networks
- Social media platforms
- Any other third-party data processors
6.3 Legal Requirements
Since we do not collect or store your data, we have no data to disclose. However, we may be required to disclose information about our business practices if required by law.
7. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Retention Period: Data remains on your device until you remove it
- User Control: You can delete all stored data at any time using the "Reset All Settings" feature in the App
- Uninstallation: Removing the App from your device deletes all associated data
- Device Settings: You can clear app data through your device's application settings
We retain no data because we do not collect any data on our servers.

We do not sell personal information. The App collects only the minimum information necessary and stores it locally on your device.
Brazil (LGPD)
Brazilian users have rights including access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, and information about sharing. Since we store no data on our servers, you maintain full control over your data on your device.
Canada (PIPEDA)
Canadian users have the right to access and correct personal information. All your information is accessible and editable directly in the App.
Australia (Privacy Act)
Australian users can access and correct personal information. The App's local-only storage model ensures you maintain control of your data.
South Africa (POPIA)
South African users have rights to access, correct, and delete personal information. These can all be exercised directly through the App.

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to address the situation.

Since the App stores all data locally on your device and communicates directly with your Acumatica instance:
- No data is transferred to AcuPower LTD in any jurisdiction
- Data transfer occurs only between your device and your Acumatica server
